Mike OvermanDirector of Event Facilities
Mike has worked for Magnolia ISD since 2002 and has more than 18 years of experience as a licensed athletic trainer. He holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. With a keen eye for detail along with his experience working behind the scenes ensuring events operate smoothly is what has made his transition to the Director of Event Facilities position an easy one. His passion for coordinating activities, dedicated work ethic, and attention to detail reinforces the Magnolia Event Center exceptional experience vision.

Jim GassawayEvent Coordinator
Jim has worked for Magnolia ISD since 2015 and has 22 years of experience in education, 15 of those years in Ed Leadership. He holds a bachelor's of Music Education and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Mississippi State University. His commitment to pursuing excellence and celebrating achievement are high values in his efforts to serve others. He is excited to serve the District and the community to showcase what makes Magnolia special and memorable. .
